Blacksburg Community

Symphony

The Blacksburg Community Symphony (BCS)—formerly the Blacksburg Community Strings—was founded in 1999 with a simple but powerful mission: to bring musicians of all ages and abilities together to create and share beautiful music. Our primary gift to the community is free, semi-annual concerts that showcase the joy of collective music-making.

Join Us

A dedicated group of amateur, semi-professional, and student musicians who love to play beautiful music together. We perform free scheduled concert programs each fall and spring, sharing our love of music with the community.
